Local Ross Angling Club member Chris Dowling caught this absolute belter of a barbel from the Club’s Weirend Fishery in recent days as members experience a last minute dash to the River before the end of the coarse season. Chris told Chairman Rob Leather that he’s keen to help out at the Club and was looking forward to joining in bank clearing activities during the close season.

The fin perfect barbel weighed in at 11lb 12oz.
