Monster Flood on the Wye.

Biggest flood since 2020 is affecting the Wye at Ross on Friday 13th January. The peak of the spate happened at midnight Friday 13th into Saturday 14th January and measured 4.68 metres that is only 0.4 metres below the all time record, that’s about 16 inches in old money.

With heavy rain again in the early hours of Saturday 14th January we can expect expect another big peak of a spate on about Tuesday morning 17th January.

So most fishing will be a challenge until about Friday 20th January.
