With Salmon on the Wye hard to find at the moment Ross AC Salmon member Steve Makin was walking the water at Upper Benhall when he spotted these four pike preparing to spawn. Steve said the fish were all about the size and were certainly doubles. With the hair raising stories about water quality in the River it’s good to see nature trying to carry on despite what the human race throws at it.
