First salmon of the 2023 salmon season has been landed from Ross AC waters by Committee man Richard Woodhouse. The fish weighing 20.5lb was taken from Weirend beat on a flying C in high water with another flood heading down the River right now which will wipe out the salmon fishing for a few days.
