Membership changes agreed at AGM.

The Annual General Meeting of Ross on Wye Angling Club was held at the White Lion on 7th December and there were several changes to Club rules including a big change to the way Memberships will work. The AGM minutes are attached. at the bottom of this post.

Firstly the dates of the Membership year will change to facilitate maximising the number of members retained. To this end Annual Salmon membership will run from 1st February, with a renewal window 1st January to 31st January, the season dates which are outside our control are still 3rd March to October 17th.

The Clubs constitution limits the number of Salmon members to 35. If we don’t fill salmon membership within the renewal window, the extra spaces to be filled by the coarse waiting list.

Coarse fishing changes also with the Annual membership starting 1st April, with a renewal window 1st
April to 30th April again the season remains 16th June to 14th March in the following year.

The Club appointed a Health & Safety to a Non Executive position on the Committee guide us with this aspect of running the Club.

The General Committee is comprised of the executive and non-executive officers of the Club and seven other members elected from members of the Club.
The quorum required for business to be agreed is now 8 members including at least two executive officers.
