Because of a couple of incidents of fly tipping in the access points to our fishing on lower Wierend the farmer has taken the precaution of fitting padlocks on all the gateways along the A40 dual carriageway in the direction of Monmouth.

The farmer intends to remove the fly tipped rubbish shortly and in negotiations with the Club Secretary has agreed that our Clubs gate code number could be used so that we can park in the field in the locations indicated on the Photo attached. There is space for only two cars, don’t abuse this restriction. Members can still park considerately in the gateway so as not to cause an obstruction for the farmer.

Hopefully this arrangement will work out to the benefit of both Ross AC members and our Farmer.
