Due to high water temperatures and consequent falling levels of dissolved oxygen the Committee of the Club have had to suspend salmon fishing for the second time this summer.

This comes as the long dry summer continues and with weather forecasters predicting no rain in the foreseeable future and temperatures due to rise in the next few days so there is a good chance that coarse fishing will also be suspended if no improvements in River conditions are seen.

Members will be advised when salmon fishing opens again. This summer is truly turning out to be a shocker from the anglers perspective.
