The Town Water – River Wye.

Venue Description

The majority of our water is for members only. However, we are able to offer day ticket fishing in the TOWN WATER an area noted for the larger barbel and pike.

The day rate is comparable with any day ticket prices in the Wye Valley at £10 per day.

This is a superb fishery with many large chub, barbel, pike and perch taken every year. The Fishery is entirely in the Riverside park.

Day tickets can only be obtained from Badger’s Bait (at Croft Court, Hill St, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 7AB tel 07368 896103), Fishers (at High Street, Ross-on-Wye tel 01989 218080) or our patrolling Club Bailiffs on the bank.

The TOWN WATER is on the left bank of the River Wye in the Riverside Park from the boundary hedge below Ross Rowing Club downstream to the signed limit one meadow below Wilton Bridge. NO FISHING IS ALLOWED ALONG THE FRONTAGE OF THE HOPE AND ANCHOR PUBLIC HOUSE.
