Good turnout at Work Party No.2

On the Riverbank itching to make a start.

Good turn out of 17 members at Wilton for the second work party of the series. The objective was to tackle the overgrown swims on the members side of the River from the stream at Wilton Castle upstream as far as swims opposite the Ross Rowing Club.

Another swim sorted.

The work party was so far ahead of the schedule that there was time for Chairman Rob Leather to lead the members above the Bridstow bridge to tackle swims on Upper Benhall.

Everyone worked really hard to cut back the willows and alders to create some well appointed swims ready for the new season in June.

Meeting in the Wilton layby.

The next work party is again at Wilton Bridge on Saturday 8th May meet up at 10.00am.
