Up early for the last day.

Kim Harman was up early to bag a favourite place on Weirend for a short session on the last day of the coarse fishing season and all his fish came in the two hours after he made his first cast. After that first two hours he never had another touch.

As it was the last day he was astounded to be there on his own for that time but made the best of it with five barbel and one chub from a well known swim.

Kims largest barbel at 9lb 5oz

On a flooded Wye maggot feeder was the best method but the biggest barbel came to halibut pellet.

I’m looking for photos of Members or Day Ticket Anglers catches to put on the website so if you have photos of your personal best whatever the species please send it to me on info@rossanglingclub.co.uk and I’ll be pleased to put it on here. Trevor.
