We are trying to raise the profile of the Club amongst the general public as well as provide a service to anglers visiting the area. With this in mind we have started to put a column in the local newspaper the Ross Gazette. The first of our columns, which will be monthly was a resounding success when we were able to find the owners of a commemorative bench washed up at the bottom of our fishery after the recent floods.
The bench was the property of Ross Rowing Club and dedicated to the memory of a long time member. The Rowing Club lost a few items in the floods including picnic tables along with this bench. We have been in touch with the Rowing Club and are making arrangements to return it in the near future.
