The warmer weather brought the barbel out of their cold weather coma and Mick Palfrey was on the bank to catch a few. This beauty weighed 8lb 2oz and your Chairman just happened to be passing and took the photo.

Big pike for Andy Yeomans

  Andy Yeomans caught this beautiful pike from Weirend early in February. The pike weighed in at 25lb 6oz and was the biggest reported from Ross AC waters this winter unless you know different. Deadbait was the successful method.

Sad end for two Wye Salmon..

Found two hen salmon on the bank at Weirend just a few yards apart. Both laden with eggs and both about 10lb or so in weight. Very sad, the downside of the return of the otter.
